Diseases of bones, joints and muscles

At our orthopedic clinic we receive patients with problems of the musculoskeletal system. Many patients are referred here by other vets, because of a limp that is difficult to diagnose, or because they need advanced treatment. Our expertise in orthopedics is one of the highest available in the country. We have several very talented vets who have undergone training in limping in dogs and many of our vets have extensive experience in musculoskeletal problems.

The Small Animal Clinic has a wide range of arthroscopy equipment, which means that our surgeons can carry out arthroscopy (keyhole surgery of the joints) of very high quality. For the best prognosis and outcome, any orthopedic procedure must be followed by an individually prepared rehabilitation plan. Follow-up of our orthopedic patients is done in close cooperation with our rehabilitation department and physiotherapist Kjerstin Pettersson.
